Carr Public Question - Medora Community School Corporation and increased property taxes

Shall Medora Community School Corporation increase property taxes paid to the school corporation by homeowners and businesses for eight (8) years immediately following the holding of the referendum for the purpose of funding the offsetting of estimated losses of revenue due to the application of Circuit Breaker Tax Caps, providing for transportation of students, eliminating yearly transfers from the school corporation's Education Fund to Operations Fund, attracting and retaining certified teachers and classified staff, and improving and expanding academic programs and educational offerings? If this public question is approved by the voters, the average property tax paid to the school corporation per year on a residence would increase by 33.2% and the average property tax paid to the school corporation per year on a business property within the school corporation would increase by 26.99%.
