City of Fort Lupton Ballot Issue 2D -

Shall City of Fort Lupton taxes be increased by $55,480 first full fiscal year increase, and annually thereafter in such amounts as are received each year from the levy of imposing a lodging occupation tax at a rate of $4.00 per day per occupied lodging room, and in connection therewith, shall an ordinance be approved providing for such lodging occupation tax, to commence on January 1, 2020 and with all revenues derived from said tax to be collected, retained, and spent for economic development, special events, cultural facilities, advertising and marketing and other activities which utilize public accommodations; and shall the City be permitted to collect, retain and expand all revenues derived from such tax as a voter-approved revenue change and an exception to limits which would otherwise apply under Article X, Section 20 of the Colorado Constitution or any other law?
