Get StartedShall the City of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan be authorized to levy millage on the taxable property within the City not to exceed the annual rate of 1.0 mills ($1.00 per thousand dollars of taxable value) for a period of 10 years, beginning with the December 1, 2019 levy and extending through the 2028 levy, inclusive, for the purpose of reconstruction, resurfacing, repairing and otherwise improving major and local streets within the City, alleys, parking lots and related infrastructure? This millage would represent a partial renewal, reduction and expansion of the purpose of the annual levy of 1.75 mills that expires with the December 1, 2018 tax levy which was approved by the electors in 2014 for the purpose of reconstruction, resurfacing, repairing and otherwise improving City streets. The estimated amount of revenue that will be collected in the first year that the millage is authorized and levied is $590,641.00.
