Get StartedShall the limitation upon the total amount of general ad valorem taxes imposed upon taxable property in any one year under the Michigan Constitution be increased in the County of Oscoda, Michigan by 1.0 mills (which equals to $1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value of all such property) for a period of four (4) years, 2020 through 2023, to include the purpose of paying operational costs, improvement, acquiring, construction, extending, altering, repairing or equipment to the building owned and operated by the Oscoda County Council on Aging. The amount of revenue the County will collect if the millage is approved and levied by the county in the first year is estimated to be $400,800.00. The proposed millage is a renewal of a previously authorized millage of 0.60 mills and new additional millage of 0.40 mills, the revenue from which would be distributed by the County of Oscoda.
