Proposition 1 - Millage for Marquette County Medical Care Facility

This proposal will allow Marquette County to continue to fund its current and future obligations for the County Medical Care Facility by restoring the .55 mill approved by voters in 2018. For the continued funding of Marquette County's current and future obligations for the County Medical Care Facility located at the Frank S. Valente building, shall the County of Marquette be authorized to levy up to .55 mill for a period of six years, from 2024 – 2029, inclusive, on all taxable property within Marquette County? The millage will be a renewal of .5448 mill ($0.5548 per $1,000.00 of taxable value on real and taxable personal property) and an increase of .0052 mill ($0.0052 per $1,000.00 of taxable value on real and taxable personal property). The millage will raise approximately $1,638,620 in its first year.
