Get StartedFor the sole purpose of continuing to fund Senior Citizen Services within Clare County at the same millage level previously approved by the voters in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2013 and 2018, as constitutionally reduced, shall the Constitutional limitation upon the total amount of taxes which may be assessed in one (1) year upon all property within the County of Clare, Michigan, be renewed at up to 0.4742 mills ($0.4742 per $1,000 of Taxable Value) for a period of six (6) years, 2025 through 2030, inclusive? If approved and levied in full, this millage will raise an estimated $700,083.43 for the County-wide Senior Citizen Services in the first calendar year of the levy. In accordance with State law, a portion of the millage may also be captured by the Downtown Development and Brownfield Authorities of the Cities of Clare and Harrison; the Downtown Development Authority of the Village of Farwell, and the Village of Farwell/Surrey Township Local Development Finance Authority
