Get StartedThis measure creates the Flat Rock Road District. The District will provide maintenance of and improvements to the roads within the District. A board of three appointed directors will govern the District, as appointed by the Crook County Court. This measure would establish a permanent tax rate of $4.26 per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of assessed value beginning in the 2023 fiscal year which would provide a stable and long-term source of funding to operate the District. In the first year of imposition the proposed tax rate will raise approximately $17,010 a year. A home with an assessed value of $100,000 would pay approximately $426.00 a year. The boundaries of the proposed District are Section 5 of Township 16 South, Range 17 East of the Willamette Meridian and Sections 29 and 33 of Township 15 South, Range 17 East of the Willamette Meridian.
