Special Election To Authorize Additional Levy - Monongalia County Ballot Measure

Election to authorize a levy for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 for the purpose of contributing funds from such levy for emergency medical services for the acquisition of equipment and other capital improvements, payment of a portion of general operating, maintenance, and other expenses in the amount of approximately $4,470,399 annually and $17,881,598 during the term of the Levy. The need for such funding has been determined by the Order of the County Commission of Monongalia County, West Virginia entered on the 20th day of July 2022. The additional levy for each one hundred dollars assessed valuation of property for each of the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2023, July 1, 2024, July 1, 2025, and July 1, 2026 shall be: Fiscal Year 2024: CLASS I properties 2.33 cents CLASS II properties 4.66 cents CLASS III properties 9.32 cents CLASS IV properties 9.32 cents Fiscal Year 2025: CLASS I properties 2.35 cents CLASS II properties 4.70 cents CLASS III properties 9.40 cents CLASS IV properties 9.40 cents Fiscal Year 2026: CLASS I properties 2.38 cents CLASS II properties 4.76 cents CLASS III properties 9.52 cents CLASS IV properties 9.52 cents Fiscal Year 2027: CLASS I properties 2.40 cents CLASS II properties 4.80 cents CLASS III properties 9.60 cents CLASS IV properties 9.60 cents.
