Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) Referendum - Sales and Use Tax

Shall a special one percent sales and use tax be imposed in the special district of Schley County for a period of time not to exceed six (6) years and for the raising of an estimated amount of $2,300,000.00 for the purposes of: (1) capital outlay project for Courthouse and Annex improvements, capital outlay project for expansion of the Fire Department and EMS headquarters, capital outlay project for the purchase of emergency vehicles and equipment for the fire department, capital outlay project for an ambulance box remount, capital outlay project for the purchase of vehicles for the Sheriff's Department, capital outlay projects for the purchase of road department equipment, capital outlay projects for recreation facility improvements for Schley County; (2) capital outlay projects for renovation and expansion of City Hall and the City Center, capital outlay projects for the purchase of City vehicles and equipment to replace existing vehicles and equipment, capital outlay project consisting of the purchase of vehicles and body armor for the Police Department, capital outlay project for installation and repair of roads and sidewalks, capital outlay project consisting of stormwater drainage improvements. capital outlay projects consisting of repairs, upgrades and modernization to City Water Plant, City wells, and lift station, capital outlay project for recreation improvements for the City of Ellaville?
