SPLOST - Clinch County Special-purpose Local-option Sales Tax

Shall A special one percent sales and use tax be imposed in the special district of Clinch County for a period of time not to exceed 5 years and for the raising of an estimated amount of 3,700,000.00 for the purpose of (1) funding Level Two County-wide Projects for parks and recreation improvements and equipment; and, (2) funding Capital Outlay projects consisting of roads, streets, drainage and bridges maintenance, repairs and improvements to include purchase of equipment; and public safety and emergency vehicles, equipment and facilities for Clinch County; and, (3) Roads, streets, drainage, and bridges maintenance, repairs, and improvements to include purchase of equipment; Construction of, improvements to, and major capital equipment for Homerville Municipal Complex; Construction of, improvements to, and major capital equipment to, and major capital equipment for public meeting and community event facilities, public safety and emergency vehicles, equipment and facilities, and construction of and improvements to water and sewer system facilities for municipality of Homerville; and (4) funding Capital Outlay projects consisting of roads, streets, drainage and bridges maintenance, repairs and improvements to include purchase of equipment; and utilities infrastructure maintenance, repairs and improvements; and Public safety and emergency equipment and facilities for the Municipality of Fargo; and (5) funding Capital Outlay projects consisting of roads, streets, drainage and bridges maintenance, repairs and improvements to include purchase of equipment; Public safety and emergency, equipment and facilities improvements; and Construction of and improvements to water system facilities; and Construction of, improvements to, and major capital equipment for public meeting, community event and administrative facilities for the Municipality of Argyle; and, (6) funding Capital Outlay projects consisting of roads, streets, drainage and bridges maintenance, repairs, and improvements to include purchase of equipment; Construction of and improvements to water system facilities; and Public safety and emergency, equipment and facilities for the Municipality of Dupont.
