Talbot County SPLOST -

Shall a special one percent sales and use tax be imposed in Talbot County for a period of time not to exceed six (6) years and for the raising of an estimated amount of $3,600,000.00 for the following purposes: (1) Road, street, and bridge purposes for Talbot County; the acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of a capital outlay projects concerning public safety; the purpose of funding the acquisition, construction, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects consisting of a community service building; (2) acquisition, construction, renovation equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning water and sewer for the City of Talbotton; road, street and bridge purposes for the City of Talbotton; acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning public safety for the City of Talbotton; the retirement of general obligation debt on behalf of the City of Talbotton; (3) acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning water and sewer for the City of Woodland; acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping, and installation of capital outlay projects consisting of recreational facilities, as well as improvements and renovations to existing recreational facilities for the City of Woodland; acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning improvements and renovations of City Hall in the City of Woodland; (4) acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning water and sewer for Junction City; acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning the improvements and renovations of City Hall in Junction City; (5) acquisition, construction, renovation, equipping and installation of capital outlay projects concerning water and sewer for the City of Geneva.
