Get StartedShall Weld County School District No. 6 debt be increased by up to $395 million, with a maximum repayment cost of up to $771 million, and shall district taxes be increased by up to $34.5 million annually, to create healthy and safe learning spaces for students, address significant capacity issues, plan for projected student growth and create learning spaces to enhance college and career readiness, by: · constructing and equipping a new high school to replace the current Greeley West High School · building and improving career and technical education spaces · constructing and equipping a new K-8 school · making improvements and additions to renovate, update and increase capacity at selected K-8 schools · constructing and equipping a new school to replace the current Madison Elementary School · repairing and renovating aging facilities, including charter schools · making safety and security improvements to existing schools, including charter schools and otherwise acquiring, constructing, improving, equipping and furnishing district buildings and other property, by the issuance and payment of general obligation bonds or other multiple fiscal year obligations which may be used as matching moneys for financial assistance from the State under the Building Excellent Schools Today Act, which debt shall bear interest, mature, be subject to redemption, with or without premium, and be issued, dated and sold at such time or times, at such prices (at, above or below par) and in such manner and containing such terms, not inconsistent herewith, as the Board of Education may determine; shall ad valorem property taxes be levied in any year, without limitation as to rate and in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of, premium, if any, and interest on such debt and to fund any reserves for the payment thereof; and shall any limitations on the District's debt limit be weakened up to 6% of the actual value of the District's taxable property to permit the issuance of such bonds?
