Get StartedI support: Providing the best healthcare possible to our men and women in uniform and our veterans. That’s why I oppose current proposals to dramatically cut medical services for our military. Soldiers and veterans often have unique war injuries that civilian doctors are not accustomed to treating. These veterans deserve the specialized care and expertise developed by VA medical professionals. That’s why I oppose privatizing the VA. However, I’ve seen first hand the struggle to deal with the bureaucratic nightmare of lost paperwork and being passed around from one person to another. We have to streamline VA processes and fix customer service issues at the VA. Legalizing marijuana for medical uses, including for our veterans who have been injured in service. Providing access to medical marijuana can lower use of opioids that lead chronic addictions. Improving military housing at Fort Jackson. Learn more

Protecting the Children’s Health Insurance Program Protecting the Affordable Care Act’s provisions for pre-existing conditions and allowing young people to stay on their parents insurance through age 26. Such provisions must remain in place and have been under attack by Representative Wilson for over 10 years. Learn more
