Once I am elected, I will fight for higher teacher pay, work to create programs that attract and incentivize teachers to stay in education, and for smaller class sizes. I will also work to ensure that the teacher recruitment process places emphasis on hiring teachers who reflect the diversity of the student body. Learn more
Once the Build Back Better Act is passed by the Senate and signed into law by President Biden, it is critical that the SC legislature take advantage of the opportunities provided by federal funding of universal, voluntary 4-K, as well as childcare investments.
