Get StartedThe legislature needs to engage in difficult topics and issues that are impacting our communities and neighborhoods. Through my own experience helping refugees, victims of domestic violence and abused children within our community, I have a deep empathy for all Utahns and especially vulnerable members of our community. Utah’s economic engine has seen unparalleled growth due to the friendly business climate. I am running to keep our economy vibrant and thriving by investing in key infrastructure projects and managing our appropriated funds (taxpayer dollars). Retaining talent and increasing high-paying jobs elevates our vision of the state and provides opportunity for all Utahns. Working with the legislature, I would support legislation that maintains our triple-A bond rating, empowers entrepreneurs and creates a stronger job market. Growth is happening now—therefore, we need leadership at the capitol representing our district for relevant and sustainable solutions. As a small business owner, I recognize the hurdles and challenges many face. I will use my financial background to understand the long-term fiscal impacts with our investments. Learn more
I believe that our local schools should be the best schools for our children. These should be safe places of learning and growth where parents know and trust the local teachers. Focused investments in our mentoring, tools and incentives to improve the educational experience for teachers, students and parents. A world-class education should be possible for every Utah child. We are fortunate to live in a state filled with natural beauty . From our national parks to our city parks, even to our own backyards, we enjoy our state to its fullest. Taking care of our backyard also means taking care of each aspect of our environment. Utah is the 2nd driest state in the nation and that’s not changing. We all breathe the same air. Poor air quality impacts our economic growth and quality of life. I believe that effective leadership on the following issues will bring solutions: Clean Air Initiative Transparent and accountable water policy (Water treatment and reuse) Sustainable solutions through technology, transportation infrastructure and education Learn more
