Get StartedThe Equal Right's Amendment was first introduced in 1923 and would guarantee equal legal rights for all citizens regardless of sex. While I am proud Kentucky ratified this amendment in 1972 shortly after the bill passing in the Senate, we later attempted to rescind our ratification in 1979. The bill is yet to pass as only 35 of 38 states needed have been willing to say women should not be discriminated against based on sex. The idea 38 out of 50 states feel women shouldn't have equal rights to men in unbelievable in the 21st century! Women still only make up about 25% of our representatives, as opposed to 51% of the total population. Now, more than ever, it is essential we elect women into the House and Senate to help oppose the bills moving forward seeking to suppress women's rights. Learn more
I believe if we truly want to move America forward, the best way to do this is by investing in our teachers and our schools. Education is the key to keeping people out of jails and off public assistance. America can choose to invest heavily in education, or invest heavily in public assistance. I vote for investing in education. Learn more

I am a firm believer in the Second Amendment. I believe people should absolutely be allowed to keep their guns. I also believe that with great power comes great responsibility and we need laws in place to ensure proper licensing and training goes into gun ownership Learn more
It is absolutely essential we elect Doctors and Nurses into Congress and the Senate to help participate in this process. As a bedside nurse for many years, and now a nurse practitioner in the field of Neurology, I am familiar with the ins and outs of the healthcare system and the impact it has on everyday citizens when they don't have timely access to healthcare or when they are forced to choose between food and medicine.
