Get StartedI will push to protect Floridan's by codifying the expansion of our privacy and human rights into the Florida State Constitution. Learn more
I support following Maine's SP544 initiative to codify women's rights into the Human Rights portion of the state constitution. Learn more
This is why when I am your District 8 Senator I will push for an increase to teacher pay/supports for long-term teachers not just those entering the field. We want to give our children the best and that includes retaining talented caring teachers. I will propose a housing tax exemption for Community Heros to give their wallets relief and decrease housing loss amongst this group. Learn more
I would propose incentives for fertilizer run-off reduction efforts, studies on algae blooms, and manatee preservation initiatives. Our waterways are our life-line for the coast. Let's protect them. Learn more
If access to weapons of war feed into mass death incidents then I will promote sensible reform. Place extra licensing protocol or higher fees on obtaining high-capacity weapons. If you need special licensing to drive high capacity vehicles like a semi-truck or a bus then it makes sense to to have special licensing or higher fees for high-capacity weapons. Learn more
If mental health is driving the Mass Shooting Crisis then I will say Yes to Expanding Healthcare. Let's address mental health instead of blaming it and doing nothing. Learn more
I believe in the 2nd Admendment. Learn more
I will not sunset, or END Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid like GOP 11-point strategy plan by current Florida Senator Rick Scott intends to do. I support maintaining and increasing these programs. I will accept the free federal government money to extend Medicaid, etc. so that more health and mental health issues can be addressed in this state. The GOP said no to this free money and I will Vote Yes. Learn more
I support fellow Democrat Adam Hattersley who is running for State Chief Financial Officer ideal of declaring a state housing crisis. This will allow limiting the price gouging inflated rates apartments are doing and open up State funds to address the crisis. I also support Titusville Council Jo Lynn Nelson's endeavors to look into 3D printed single family homes at 40% less of a construction cost. Lastly, I believe working with developers to have them set aside a percent of homes/condos for low income families will help when implemented properly. Learn more
I will work with the state Chief Financial Officer to drive down rent and insurance costs. This can be done by declaring a State Housing Crisis emergency. Just like when we have areas of emergency declared during hurricane season this declaration by the Governor opens funding and policy avenues not routinely used. Learn more
I will promote improving our clogged up supply chain by providing trucking incentives and lowered tariffs. Learn more
