Our close proximity to the development in Port Covington makes us an attractive area for positive development. We are the closest geographic area to Port Covington that does not have the added burden of city taxes. This opportunity is right in front of us and I plan to be leading the partnerships with these projects. Learn more
When schools are supported, the community is stronger. I am encouraged by what is happening down in Crofton. There are a lot of dedicated individuals working to establish a local high school that will benefit our small district. Northern Anne Arundel county is a great candidate area for these projects to continue. Learn more
I will work tirelessly to end restrictive gun laws and allow Marylanders to more freely exercise their Constitutional right to defend their families. Learn more
I will be the strong advocate who works with state agencies to make sure we get the same treatment as every other district in our state. Additionally, I would not have supported overriding Governor Hogan's veto of HB 1013, the Road Kill Bill, in the 2016 Legislative session that created a scoring system for road improvements and will hurt districts like ours. I will voice my belief that good, hard-working people are already paying too much in taxes and any additional spending needs come from existing revenue streams. I will fight to reduce taxes and fees for everyone in our district. Learn more
