Carbon capture technology and near zero-emission coal plants hold great promise. They could provide numerous good-paying jobs and revitalize the coal industry and the economy of our region. I will fight to put these facilities right here in our district where it’s already been shown they can be feasibly built. Also, Obamacare does nothing to fix the shortage of primary care physicians, especially in rural America. Residency training programs, which are funded by the federal government, often produce primary care physicians that do not practice in rural or underserved communities. Many of their graduates do not even practice in the United States. This needs to change. I will propose legislation to hold these programs accountable. Learn more
