Get StartedOur school systems are increasingly stressed with greater demands while budgets continue to shrink. We can increase funding for local schools by increasing revenues to municipalities by attracting new and good forward-thinking businesses. We should expect excellence in our teachers and special ed personnel, and we should ensure that they are paid well. We should support our teachers unions while we also work closely to ensure that they too help us attract new resources. Learn more
Our recycling industry can be greatly improved, and there are endless new opportunities for new businesses in clean energy, organic food, ecologically sound packaging, replacement of single-use plastic, and up-cycling opportunities. There are B-Corporations to support, and Cradle2Cradle Certification to follow. We can invite good new start-ups to “start up” in NJ4. Learn more

A major part of ongoing illness and disease is related to the quality of our water, the air we breathe, the pesticides and pollutants in our soil and the food we buy and ingest. Protecting our health requires that we protect our environmental safety. Our safety from extreme weather, climate change, erosion, flooding, and future pandemics is directly connected to reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, protecting species, and adequately evaluating how we use our land. Our homes on the shore are at stake, pollution from runoff is endangering our waterways. Learn more
While learning how to wean off of fossil fuels, we can replace the fracking project that terminates dangerously close to the western edge of our NJ4 boundary in Mercer County. We can demand a true evaluation of the now-shut but still questionable nuclear plant in Ocean County. Learn more
We cannot only handle diseases with medical treatments and think that extended benefits for those suffering from existing sickness is enough to protect our health: We must reduce the pollutants that are contributing to our rates of cancer, hypertension, obesity, autism, and behavior disorders — everything that is making us sick! If Covid-19 has taught us anything it is that our health is our future. Learn more
I'll vote for and champion national legislation that will ensure that we have universal coverage for everyone. But, in the meantime, I have a tangible PLAN for bridging the health care GAP in our District: the NJ4 Health Fund. Learn more
