Enforce the law against scam nursing homes. Nursing home residents are particularly vulnerable to abuse and neglect. As Attorney General, I will take these complaints seriously, prosecute wrongdoers, pursue Medicaid fraudsters, and protect our loved ones receiving nursing care. Learn more
For too long, Missouri's Attorney General hasn't done enough about scam calls, scammers targeting seniors, and fraudsters taking advantage of desperate Missourians. We will prioritize consumer protection within our office. Learn more
As Attorney General, I will go after Medicaid fraud. That includes investigating nursing homes and similar care environments that wrong their residents. Learn more
Support focused deterrence. Most violent crime happens in small areas and is conducted by a very small number of people. We will support a focused deterrence model that identifies those individuals most at risk to commit violent crime, sets clear expectations, offers opportunities before people commit crimes, and ensures that those who still participate in violence are prosecuted. Focused deterrence must be paired with community outreach, poverty reduction, and the other strategies below to be truly effective. Prosecutions only happen after violence has occurred. Our goal must be to prevent violence. Learn more
Advocate for expanded spousal reciprocity offerings in Missouri. Military families are often on the move and make so many sacrifices for our country. Military spouses who work in state-licensed jobs should not have to give up their careers every time they move out of state. We will work with national networks and Missouri government to expand opportunities for military spouses to continue their careers in our state. Learn more
As Attorney General, I will ensure that our state meets its constitutional responsibilities, protects the safety of Missouri residents from corporations trying to exploit our state, and ends the wasteful war on marijuana. Learn more
As Attorney General, I will use my authority to improve access to affordable housing, quality education services, and job opportunities for every Missourian. As Attorney General, I will also enforce Missouri’s consumer protections to prevent exploitation by predatory lenders, insurance companies, and scammers who keep people stuck in poverty. Learn more
Enforce antitrust law against corporations illegally rigging our markets. Today, we have few true monopolies exhibiting anticompetitive behavior on their own. Instead, we have highly concentrated marketplaces where a few major players effectively control the entire market. We will monitor corporate coordination for schemes designed to eliminate competition or exploit Missourians, and we will enforce antitrust law. Learn more
Support American manufacturing. Domestic manufacturing provides good paying jobs, improves our economy, and is essential for our national security. Our office will set an example for our state government by procuring supplies and services from domestic companies. Learn more

We need to stop the illegal flow of guns in Missouri which makes it even easy for children to illegally obtain firearms and make horrific choices in terrible situations. We need to ensure that folks who shouldn't have firearms do not have them, and we need an Attorney General who will enforce the law, work with federal and state agents to do so, and advocate for common sense improvements to public safety. We are seeing an increase in the number of out-of-state corporate landlords moving into Missouri and taking advantage of lax housing enforcement. Bad landlords hurt their residents, bring down housing standards in their neighborhoods, and make it very difficult for good landlords to compete and stay in business. In conjunction with the Consumer Protection Division, we will hold landlords accountable to maintain habitable residences for tenants, and we will enforce non-discrimination laws already on the books. We will also enforce the law against predatory scams in housing. Having worked on hundreds of cases with renters, landlords, owners, and lenders, I know how important it is for Missourians to have access to safe, affordable housing. I fully support a housing-first model of poverty alleviation. Learn more
Develop artificial intelligence regulations. AI-generated voices, images, and other content is the next major weapon scammers will deploy. We will work with our state and federal legislature, as well as our state agencies, to develop rules to prevent an increase in fraud. Learn more
I will advocate for our legislature to pass greater privacy protections, I will enforce our consumer protection laws against scammers and data-miners, and I will start Missouri’s first Civil Rights Division to protect our constitutional rights to privacy and autonomy in health care decisions. Learn more
