Get StartedI do not believe in giving the President a blank check to wage war. We should restore the power to declare war to Congress as the Constitution intended. For this reason, I support the removal of the AUMF. Learn more
Remove the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists (AUMF) which was passed by Congress following the September 11 attacks in order to combat international terrorism and defend the United States. This act, passed at a difficult time for our country, has given the President the ability to wage war on any individual, organization, or country as long as the President deems it a terrorist threat. The Constitution gives Congress the power to wage war and this act allows the President to circumvent Congress in order to wage war. This act has been used to wage war against people, groups, and nations that were not involved in 911. Learn more

Pass legislation instituting a public financing system where each U.S. citizen will be given the same amount of money that they can allocate to whichever candidates they want per election. This money would be on a use it or lose it system where money not used will be put back into the system for the next election year. The allocated amount would be tied to inflation and adjusted annually. Learn more
Make it clear that money is not speech and corporations are not people. By doing so, we will overturn many of the Supreme Court’s disastrous rulings that says money is speech in Buckley v Valeo and corporations are people in Citizens United v. FEC. Learn more
We pay the most in the world and don't have the best healthcare outcomes. Our healthcare system is a disaster that leads to more debt, untreated sickness, and declining life expectancy. It’s time we join the rest of the industrialized world in providing universal single payer healthcare (Medicare For All) to all of our citizens. The profiteering health insurance industry that gets between you and your doctor in its current form needs to be eliminated. The United States needs to be the sole single payer of insurance and must negotiate prices with healthcare providers and the price-gouging pharmaceutical industry. Learn more
