Government should strive to create and continually improve its public education programs (pre-K through post-secondary) designed to educate informed, reasoning, tolerant and thoughtful persons who are critical lifelong learners. The inherent dignity and value of each person must be maintained, and government should provide a safety net of Social Services to help all citizens who are experiencing vulnerability or bad luck. Wrap around services are needed to support and help these individuals to attain their full potential. We need to value fair housing practices, understand the root causes of homelessness and invest in services that address this. Learn more
