When people in our community do not have access to mental health care near their homes the likelihood of them reaching out for help deceases. The closest facility in our district is in Greeley. As our region grows we need to expand access and I will fight for additional facilities to be built in our district. Learn more
I have been fighting for patients to have affordable prescription coverage for most of my career. In rural Colorado people do not have the same choices that they might in the city. If a drug is too expensive at your local pharmacy you cannot just go “shopping around” to find a pharmacy that is affordable. Price transparency for prescription drugs and finding a way to standardize prices of medications is something that I am passionate about. Learn more
I believe that access to affordable health care is a right, not a privilege. The United States of America has the most skilled and talented medical professionals in the world and I believe that our citizens should be able to have access to that amazing care.
