Get StartedAll women should have full rights to control their own body; it is for this reason the Hyde Amendment should be repealed. It is a dangerous door to open to allow the government to dictate reproductive rights for anyone. Rather than punishing women and doctors, we should invest to help women have more control over their body to begin with. Learn more
Together, we can address the growing racial and economic disparity in our communities, but we must be willing to own up to the entrenched racism that exists in so many of our systems and work together to reform our societies and our mindset so that we can truly be a nation of justice and equality. Jennifer calls for ending the for-profit prison system and cash bail regime, which benefit all too often from the arrests for nonviolent offenses – or who are never convicted of crimes but are too poor to afford their own bail. We must end the practice of criminalizing poverty and allowing the rich to get even richer off of others’ misfortune. Learn more
We have also failed to adequately address some of the greatest threats to our national security such as Climate Change and Cyber Warfare. Our policies and funding must address these threats to national security while promoting democracy, human rights, diplomacy, and peace in the world. Learn more

Jennifer is a scientist who understands that politics as usual won't work. The United States can lead the way today by transforming our energy systems, infrastructure, and transportation, as well as investing in innovation, such as carbon capture technology. We will create millions of jobs by solving climate change. Upgrading our antiquated infrastructure and systems to sustainable energy sources will provide lasting environmental and economic growth. Safe gun storage is critical to gun safety. Harmonizing requirements for gun storage across states would reduce accidental deaths and help to keep guns out of the hands of minors. High-capacity magazines and military-style assault weapons have no place in the civilian world and should be banned. Learn more
It’s time we simplify the process to allow for single-payer healthcare that guarantees health care for every American without exception. We have already proven that the Medicare system works. Guaranteeing health care as a human right is simply the right thing to do. Learn more
We should act quickly to give legal status to all DACA eligible young people because America is the only home they know. Any immigrant who honorably serves our country in our military should be awarded citizenship. We must then pass comprehensive immigration reform and provide rigorous humanitarian standards at our borders. Learn more
