Get StartedWith the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade, many states have jumped on the opportunity to legislate healthcare decisions that should be made by women and healthcare providers. The Connecticut Legislature took the opposite approach and took steps to protect women and women’s healthcare providers when seeking abortion services. I would look for additional ways to ensure these rights are protected for Connecticut women, women seeking reproductive health services in our state from outside of Connecticut, and for healthcare providers. Additional tax reforms are needed, but we’ve seen the impacts a child tax credit can provide, and we should move expeditiously to create this permanent credit. Learn more
