With so many in our city living paycheck-to-paycheck, John knows one unexpected medical expense can mean choosing between life-saving medicine or paying rent. That’s why he supports city policies that prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place — like living-wage jobs and affordable housing —as well as regional partnerships that offer permanent affordable housing options for the currently unhoused. As a Councilmember, John will not shy away from this challenge and lead the way on new ideas and collaborations to solve this humanitarian crisis. Learn more
