Get StartedI will fight to make sure all Kentuckians can live the longest, best lives that they can. This means protecting and expanding healthcare access for all Kentuckians. This means repealing the unpopular and punitive abortion bans and restoring access to abortion care across the commonwealth. Abortion care is healthcare, and the need for abortion care is an inseparable part of healthcare for a pregnant person. Kentucky was a dangerous place to be a pregnant person, even before the abortion ban. And now it’s that much worse. Learn more
I would oppose moves by Frankfort to meddle with our schools’ DEI programs, to muzzle our teachers, and to threaten our professors. To build a more just future, we must understand our unjust past. Learn more
I support universal pre-k and expanded access to childcare, and oppose schemes that would divert public dollars to private schools. Learn more
Closer regulation of the sale of guns, and mandatory reporting of stolen guns, would reduce the number of guns making it out onto our streets. Safe storage laws would reduce accidental deaths. Red flag laws would temporarily remove guns from violent or unstable individuals, preventing suicides and interrupting cycles of abuse before they turn deadly. Gun buyback programs remove dangerous weapons from the street, and give participants something they can use to materially help their families instead. Learn more
I will support and enact statewide zoning changes that encourage more housing and denser housing, directly fund new construction, and invest in making our current housing stock safer and less costly to occupy. Learn more
Raise the minimum wage. Learn more
I will work to codify benefits into state law, including paid parental leave, paid sick leave, paid vacation time, and paid bereavement leave. Learn more
I will push to expand Kentuckians’ ability to organize and take on the long work of repealing right to work legislation. Our right to organize is established in the Constitution, inseparable from our right to speak and assemble freely. I will oppose any act that would diminish our ability to exercise this right, and speak plainly against any attempts to undermine the practical ability of a union to exist. Learn more
