Background checks on all gun sales have been proven to stop dangerous people from obtaining weapons. Currently you can purchase a weapon from an unlicensed dealer at gun shows without a background check. This loophole needs to be closed. Learn more
We need to expand Medicaid to ensure that payments can be made to providers. Rural hospitals are closing at an alarming rate because of bills that go unpaid by the uninsured. This in turn means there is nowhere to seek treatment even for those who have insurance. Learn more
