Get StartedInnovation in agriculture, the advent of new cash crops, tourism, busting up government mandated meat processing monopolies, we need leaders who are not afraid to aggressively break down barriers to let innovators and entrepreneurs make Wyoming home. We need to challenge federal monopolies that make Wyoming dependent on a few industries. We must use the technology available to accurately assess the PILT on our land and pursue years of back payments from federal bureaucracies that have shortchanged us for years. It is time that Wyomingites can stay in our great state and raise families without the constant cloud of economic uncertainty. The first thing we must do is stop passing new legislation just to fix small, one time issues. This type of impulse governing more often than not makes daily activities harder for the average person and just creates unnecessary red tape for businesses and people to navigate. New laws should be rooted in facts, statistics, and strong discussion. Once we put an end to passing laws on a whim, we can secondly begin our second, and most difficult step of beginning to repeal all the outdated and nonsense laws currently on the books to begin to give citizens the maximum freedom they deserve. In 2020 it has become even more clear that business, as usual, is not the way forward in education. For decades we have tied teachers and parents hands with one-size-fits-all approaches to education that unfairly limit our student’s abilities to thrive! Going forward we must tirelessly advocate for constant innovation in education, more choice for parents who are not satisfied with a system that is not designed for their children, and an adaptive approach that fits the unique challenges that Wyoming faces. We must find a way to make education more affordable while not sacrificing good teachers and that will include more remote classes, more interactive learning communities, and less brick and mortar facilities that are heavy on administrative and maintenance costs.
