We must also prioritize basic services like drinking water, road maintenance, and health inspections, protect our city’s equity investments such as affordable housing, support small businesses, advance the reconstruction and renewal of Lake Street, and provide ongoing public safety services, including violence prevention. The expansion of the Southwest Lightrail will take a lot of effort. I will continue to be an advocate for the future, blue line extension that would serve the communities of North Minneapolis and beyond. I’ll continue to advocate for investments that increase access to cleaner and cost effective forms of transportation, including bus rapid transit. Learn more
