Get StartedI boldly and proudly support our men and women in uniform and refuse to play politics with their lives. We can’t undermine the efforts of law enforcement to keep dangerous criminals off our streets. I believe our police should have every resource they need. And you will too. Not only will I continue to offer free events teaching self-defense and protection to you, I will create a consumer advocacy center that can help you when you are scammed or ripped off. Everything I did for you at Channel 8, I will continue to do for you now. I’ll have more details on the Consumer Advocacy Center soon. Learn more
I have always been a supporter of our vets. Whether helping them get their disability benefits, finding jobs or going after the scammers that specifically seek them out, I have always been on the side of veterans and I always will be. You can watch videos of my work advocating for vets on my video page. Learn more
We need to find private funding for school choice like Opportunity Scholarships and ESA’s. These programs give parents the choice to send their children to schools that best suit their needs. Learn more
We need to give teachers and parents more power. The decentralization of CCSD began in the 2015 session and then came to a screeching halt in 2019 thanks to legislators refusing to accept that parents and teachers know what’s best, not bureaucrats. We must unwind the mistakes made in 2019 by the Democrats and empower teachers and parents immediately. This can’t happen overnight, but with the right leadership, it can be done. Learn more
We need class sizes to get smaller. How do we do that? More schools. Right now, way too many kids are being taught in portables with no windows and insufficient air conditioning and heating. Unfortunately for all Nevadans, the 2019 legislature and my opponent Shea Backus, passed laws that make building more schools even more expensive. Did you know before this last session, we could get 5 schools for the price of 4 in Nevada? Now we get 4 schools for the price of 5. Undoing the laws they past may prove to be difficult, but we can focus on how we are spending money and where. We must find a more affordable way to build safer, better schools. Learn more
We have a teacher problem. We need a lot more. So how do we get quality teachers to Nevada? I have some ideas. First, we must create a program for high school students who want to go into education. This program will help them get their degree and scholarships right here in Nevada. The teacher of the 21st century program would keep quality teachers here and fill our current void. Each school needs to be examined for teacher benefits, as well. Quality teachers won’t stay in dysfunctional environments. We must make sure schools are run well, so teachers can thrive. We don’t want them to teach to test, we want them to have the freedom to teach so kids learn and grow. Learn more
Audit all school districts for a fair accounting of where dollars are being spent and why. This is the first key to ending frivolous spending by bureaucrats and the only way to make sure the money goes to our kids. Learn more
Nevada is blessed with beautiful land that the sun shines on every single day. We have a responsibility to find clean energy sources in Nevada. Politicians in the past have tried to force homeowners and home builders to require solar panels, but that type of over-regulatory legislation is looking at the problem all wrong. We need to empower private entities to build and produce more solar options in our state that help bring the cost of electricity down and keep our environment clean. We don’t’ need solar leasing companies scamming seniors, in the name of clean energy. We don’t need to make homes that are energy efficient even more expensive for families with unnecessary regulation. We need real solutions to clean energy and finding ways for solar to be used here to power the Silver State. Learn more
I support gun rights and I care about safety. You can do both, even though the media and The Left try to shame us into choosing one or the other. I am a mother of two girls and their safety is my top priority. Learn more
Prescription drug prices can be overwhelming to some, but there are solutions to getting more affordable prescriptions by cutting the regulations in our state that hinder consumers from getting the best deals. Learn more
We must also tackle the high cost of health care. Plans are too expensive. Co-pays and deductibles are too high. Learn more
I will not raise your property taxes. I will never support a state income tax. Learn more
