Get StartedI am pro-choice and believe it is wrong to stigmatize those who have chosen to exercise their reproductive rights. Every pregnancy is different. I trust Virginians to make their own important life decisions, and that once they have made the decision to have an abortion, it should be safe, accessible, affordable, and free from punishment or judgment. All people have a right to decide for themselves what to do with their bodies. This includes the decision to terminate an unplanned pregnancy. It is a deeply personal decision that should be between a pregnant person and their doctor and not determined by politicians. Learn more
I will work to provide veterans with job retraining and access to high-quality jobs in the 44th district, affordable housing, and the comprehensive healthcare they need to live healthy, successful lives. Learn more
I am a strong supporter of the decriminalization of marijuana in Virginia. Learn more
I support reducing the ratio of counselors to students to the recommended 250:1, increasing the number of social workers and school psychologists, and creating an environment where students feel comfortable coming forward with any issues they are having. Learn more

I strongly support the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), which is a regional market for the trading of carbon dioxide allowances. Learn more
I also support measures such as providing tax rebates for Virginians who purchase energy-efficient vehicles or install solar panels, among other environmentally-friendly purchases. Learn more
I support funding of renewable energy grant programs and incentives to assist the development of new energy businesses and technology. Learn more

I remain committed to passing and defending common-sense gun violence prevention legislation that will save lives in our community and throughout Virginia. Learn more
I favor providing in-state tuition eligibility and driving privileges for the children granted legal status under the DREAM Act. I support common-sense immigration policies like this that allow law enforcement to focus on keeping families safe, keeping families together, rewarding those who follow the rules, and allowing those who have arrived in Virginia to build a better life to have the same opportunity that was extended to the rest of us. We must dedicate more funding for transportation projects if we want to account for the rapidly growing population in Northern Virginia. That means investing in public transportation like high speed rail. We can start with extending Metro’s Yellow Line to Hybla Valley and then down to Fort Belvoir. Learn more
We must also invest in multimodal transportation options, and increase safety and accessibility for cyclists and pedestrian traffic. Learn more
I will vote to maintain and increase funding to healthcare providers like Planned Parenthood. Learn more
I also support repealing right-to-work in Virginia to make the Commonwealth a more worker friendly state. Learn more
I strongly support legislation to raise the Virginia minimum wage to $15 an hour. Learn more
I am committed to working towards guaranteed paid family leave and paid sick days for Virginia workers. Learn more
