TABOR needs to be fixed. Colorado needs a fair tax system. Colorado can generate $2 billion in new revenue by having the top 5% of earners pay a fair share while 95% of working families who earn less than $250,000 a year will see their income tax rates decrease to 4.58%. Colorado’s middle class pays more in taxes and this is not a fair system, but we can fix it and make our tax code fair. The money will be used for teachers and school support staff. The other half will go to a just system including affordable housing, health care, road repairs, and providing a better quality of life for all of us. Learn more
