It is of the utmost importance that we address these issues and pay our teachers a salary that is commensurate to the work they do and in line with what they have been promised. This is necessary so we may not only keep the teachers we have, but also increase the number of teachers in the classroom. Taking care of one’s health is a personal and family obligation and not the governments. We must make it affordable to all as much as possible and for the poor among us we need to have a system that will make health care a possibility for them also. For those with pre-existing conditions, we need a have a system to protect and supply them with the needed help.
