After leaving military service, our veterans are often faced with a multitude of problems reintegrating back into civilian life. We must do a better job preparing our service members for life outside of the military. As our voice in Richmond, Rich will work to pass legislation that provides critical assistance to veterans of our Commonwealth. Learn more

Rich gets it. He doesn't trust career politicians either. While both parties set their agendas in Richmond, pitting one "side" against the other, we in Virginia are stuck in the middle of our Commonwealth being pulled apart. Gerrymandering is a leading cause of political polarization, it creates incumbency advantages, it decreases levels of electoral competition, and it has led to further political battles being played out in our courts. As an outspoken advocate for ending gerrymandering; Rich will fight for redistricting reform, term limits, and campaign finance reforms. He knows that if we are going to ever put people over political parties and special interests, we have to have transparency, accountability, and continually refresh our electorate. Learn more
"A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, SHALL NOT be infringed." Rich always has been, and always will be a strong proponent of the words of our founding fathers. As our next state senator, Rich will ensure that the Second Amendment rights of Virginians are not infringed upon. Learn more
Virginia also needs a reliable internet and energy grids, safer roads, realistic mass transit options, and technology-based initiatives that lessens the strain on our infrastructure. Rich knows that to solve our infrastructural problems we need to stop approaching them as simply regional issues, and instead, challenges that face the entire Commonwealth. Learn more
The need to devote greater resources towards combating the threats of our connected world is of paramount concern. Technology is progressing so frequently that our approaches to privacy is having difficulty keeping pace. And before these emerging technologies can fully mature, they are already outdated. This creates risks to security and privacy. Rich believes the government’s primary responsibility is looking at how to deliver regulatory protections while also creating economic conditions that allow technologies to advance. Learn more
