Get StartedRichard 100% believes in the right to life. Richard believes that all life is precious and made in God's image. To punish a defenseless child for the mistakes of others is barbaric. Abortion not only kills hundreds of thousands of humans every year, but it also leads to the deterioration of society. Learn more
Richard's economic policies begin with cutting red tape and breaking down the barriers to gain access to capital formation. Liberals and other enemies of true capitalism would have you believe that regulations protect consumers from big companies. In reality, small businesses are the ones who are truly hurt. Big companies have the legal resources and money to circumvent regulations, while the same red tape can drown small businesses. Deregulating certain areas would create an economic boom from the small businesses that would be allowed to thrive. Learn more
With climate change, there is evidence on both sides. However, there is overwhelming evidence that shows that environmental extremists, like Al Gore and Ted Danson, have been very wrong. Richard believes in taking precautions where we can while balancing a growing economy. To do this Richard will support a favorable regulatory environment to ensure that the free market is incentivized to work toward clean energy. He also supports tax cuts for companies who pursue clean energy. Learn more
The key to protecting the environment is to break up the relationship between the big energy companies and politicians. With them doing favors for each other they will limit innovation in the energy sector and prevent any positive progress from being made. Learn more
Richard supports Term Limits for members of Congress and will support people like Senator Rick Scott who have proposed Term Limit amendments to the Constitution. Even if it does not become a part of the law, Richard will self limit the number of terms he holds office. Learn more
Richard Goble will always fight to protect the people from government infringement on their 2nd Amendment rights. Learn more
The Affordable Care Act isn't so affordable. The solutions to the inadequacies in America's healthcare system should not come from the government; but rather the private sector. More competition needs to be allowed, as competition drives up the quality of care and lowers its costs. Regulations in the Affordable Care Act stifle some insurance carriers who may help some consumers in the market. A one-size-fits-all government-run health care system would overwhelm the system and decrease its quality. Short term insurance plans should be allowed to exist, as they may be the best option for some consumers. Overall, there needs to be a diversity of different healthcare options on the market, but if the bureaucrats in Washington are controlling the market, that won't happen. Barriers between states should be removed as well, in the spirit of creating competition. Private options need to be more diverse, more competitive, and more affordable - if the government were to get out of the way it would be so. Learn more
The immigration issue must be addressed in two ways. The first is physically securing the border. Infrastructure will not only protect American citizens from threats but allow for the efficient flow of legal immigration. In the end, BUILDING THE WALL will help immigration! People who overstay their visas are a significant portion of the undocumented immigrants; investing in enhanced programs to track these people is a worthwhile investment to reduce that population. Immigration courts should also have greater funding to address the clogged system. The second issue that needs to be addressed is fixing the welfare programs that serve as pull factors bringing many undocumented people into the country. Learn more
