Get StartedWhether a person chooses to give birth or get an abortion, they have a right to the full healthcare options they need. We must make New York the “oasis” for reproductive rights it was once in the 1970’s, and we must fix our broken maternal care system. Learn more
End the “prison penalty,” which blocks opportunities for employment, housing, and other necessary vital requirements for re-entry into community, by passing the Clean Slate Act. Learn more

Fully fund and expand universal access to life-saving public health tools for all New Yorkers: opioid agonist treatment, naloxone, and harm reduction services. Learn more

Give tenants the right to remain and renew their lease by passing statewide Good Cause Eviction (A4454), which makes evictions unlawful unless the tenant has broken specific rules, such as non-payment. Learn more
Modernize the Emergency Tenant Protection Act to cover newer and smaller buildings to bring the benefit of rent stabilization to more upstate tenants. The current law applies only to buildings built 50 years ago with 6 or more units. As more upstate cities like Kingston enact rent stabilization, modernizing the law will ensure it achieves the goal of stabilizing skyrocketing rents. Learn more

Protect immigrant communities from legal threats, family separation, and deportation through the New York for All Act. Learn more

To create an economy where wealth is not hoarded by a few, and is instead circulated to robustly fund our public sector, we need to pass: A Progressive Income Tax, which increases state taxes for the top 5% of New Yorkers who earn 300k or more annually. Currently, New Yorkers making between 21k and 1 million pay about the same tax rate. A Capital Gains Tax, which corrects for the unfair advantage investors have from a low tax rate on gains realized by selling stock. A Mark-to-Market Tax, which taxes capital gains as investments accrue value, not when the gains are realized, meaning that collection of these taxes are not deferred years after the value of assets increase. An Inheritance Tax, which taxes large transfers of money between generations so wealth isn’t concentrated in fewer and fewer hands by keeping it from recirculating in the economy. And a Corporate Tax, which restores the taxes on corporations’ profits that were federally lowered under the Trump administration. Learn more
We must instead tax the rich and fund our services, such as childcare, education, healthcare, and affordable utilities, which would reduce expenses and hardships for New Yorkers and improve the quality of our lives. Learn more
From warehouse workers at Amazon to the nurses at WMCHealth, every worker deserves a union—the most effective way for workers to win safer, better workplaces. We must rewrite the rules that have been rigged against labor so that every worker can get one. Learn more
