When I first ran for office I promised to end the diversion of tax money that was collected to be used on roads but spent on other items. We successfully ended that diversion and allocated billions for new non-tolled roads. Learn more
Last session I voted to limit TDOT’s authority to fine people on toll roads. After that bill passed TXDOT wiped out $1.3 billion in fines and fees against Texas drivers. I’ll continue to be a watchdog to ensure area drivers are treated fairly. Learn more
