Making sure every hard working family has healthcare they can afford means: Expanding Medicaid eligibility in Florida through Obamacare to provide health care coverage to an additional 1.2 million Floridians; Increasing access to mental health services and treatment in all of our communities; Using innovations in health care technology, like telehealth, to increase access and help lower the cost of care; Reducing the cost of prescription drugs; and Eliminating the inequities in health care for racial and ethnic minorities.
