Our region’s investments in housing affordability in recent years represents the largest local investment in safe and affordable housing in history. Unfortunately, we are only focusing on certain income levels and points in the housing pipeline. We cannot only be concerned with rental assistance—we must create home ownership opportunities for everyone. Learn more
Investing in alleviating homelessness and affordability with a well thought-out strategy that moves people from poverty to prosperity through mental health, drug and alcohol treatment with job and workforce training is the most expedient way possible to creating a safe and livable Gresham for all. When it comes to individuals and families, the solution is simple – we need to be with them every step of the way to provide opportunities for them to financially recover from the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression. Learn more
