Instead of running up the white flag and funneling taxpayer money into for-profit charter schools, we need to invest in our public schools and provide a quality education regardless of where you live. Greater accountability should come with a more significant investment because the consequences of failure are unacceptable. With a quality education, every Kentucky child will have a fair shot at a good career. I know getting these results isn’t going to be easy.
